ICKF Historical Database
About this Project
ICKF History Project
The goal of this project is to document all ICKF instructors and dojos, past and present. This is a community-driven effort to preserve the history of the International Chito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation and the people who have contributed to its growth. This project was started in early 2026 in the lead up to the 80th Anniversary celebrations planned for later in the year.
This project is currently being hosted on the International Chito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation of Australia (Sunshine Coast Branch) website. This is intended as a temporary home for the project to help get it started, but it is likely to change when we find a permanent home for the project. But for now, all submissions can be made on this website.
Scope
Information in this database should only reflect ranks and titles earned whilst a member of the ICKF (International Chito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation). In the case where an instructor has left the organisation, any rank or title awarded after they left should not be included, as that is outside the scope of this historical project.
